We call ourselves the Y Service Club of Geelong, because we belong to the "Y" .... we are Men of the "Y". However women may be members too. See our page about the Menettes. We owe allegiance to the YMCA, our parent organisation. We work in partnership with the "Y" for the youth of our city and the betterment of the community. We believe the best service can be given to the Youth of Today - the Citizens of Tomorrow. The YMCA is non-sectarian, and so are we. We are international. There are over 1200 clubs such as ours in 56 countries around the world. We cater for all needs. We are a mixed group. Every occupation may be among our members - builders, accountants, labourers, doctors, salesmen.
