Welcome to YMCA Geelong

YMCA Geelong is a not for profit incorporated association providing programs and services to the greater Geelong region, we are part of an International, National, State and Local network of YMCA's operating in over 120 countries worldwide.

Our prime objective is to provide programs and services to enhance the communities in which we work. Established in Geelong in 1953 YMCA Geelong currently own and manage 6 key facilities, Newtown Stadium (Gymnastics and Court Sports) Geelong Gymnastics Centre, Winchelsea Hub, Bannockburn Recreation Centre and YMCA Camp Wyuna/Lodge at Queenscliff. YMCA Geelong also operates a range of community programs and services within the City of Geelong. 

YMCA Geelong Governance

The YMCA of Geelong is a Not for Profit Incorporated Association managed by a Board of Directors. Directors volunteer their time to provide strategic direction and guidance to the organisation, as well as ensuring compliance and adherence to the agreed direction. The Board operates under the guidance of its rules of governance, and has the flexibility to manage the affairs of the association according to such. At present the YMCA of Geelong Board meets monthly and forms sub committees, and work groups as it sees fit to address the business of the YMCA of Geelong.
